Hey There
My focus with my clients is to help build their resilience and to create a sense of balance in their life. I work to meet clients where they are in their personal journey. I want each individual to understand that their story matters and that it does not have to define them. It is simply a way to help them grow.
All About Me
I have been a social worker for over 20 years. I graduated from Goshen College with my Bachelor's degree at which time I went to work for Elkhart County Juvenile Probation. While with probation most of my work was with adolescent addicts and their families. I was integral in developing a program that focused on treatment and rehabilitation.
In 2005, I began working for Bashor Children's Home where I was able to assist in developing a Therapeutic Foster Care program. During this time, I learned about my enjoyment for teaching and leading others in learning new information. After graduating with my MSW from Indiana University, I completed my LCSW.

Beginning in 2012, I started a private practice and began working with adolescents and adults in individual counseling. In 2013, I received my certification in Critical Incident Stress Management and began increasing my work with first responders. This opportunity to work with first responders has only grown over the years and a great passion for the work has developed. This has led to opportunities to offer training on a variety of topics for departments and to assist departments in developing a peer support program.
